Cyclist seriously injured in road accident in Richmond Park

Police are appealing for witnesses and information

On Saturday 14 October at 09.54 am a 28-year-old male cyclist travelling north from Robin Hood Gate towards Roehampton Gate was in collision with a black Audi A3 travelling in the opposite direction. He was one of nine cyclists who were all travelling in the same direction.

He was taken by London Ambulance Service to Charing Cross Hospital suffering serious head injuries. He is believed to be in a critical condition. The 30 year old male driver was uninjured.
